Re: Buck-boosting

With reguards to the question about me "Buck-Boosting at 120Hz", I was
referring to a circuit that I modeled on my computer with a microwave
transformer secondary in series with my pole transformer HV output. According
to my PSPICE sim. , I should get a "double hump" in the charging voltage
peak on the main tank capacitor for every 60Hz voltage peak. Since the normal
voltage across the cap. ocurrs at a rate of 60Hz, my tank should get peaks
twice as often (120Hz). Therefore my "boosting" above the normal voltage output
of the pole pig will/should ocurr at 120Hz. (At least that's what the computer
says... <grin> ).
