Chip, Fine workmanship, Chip! With regard to the proportions, I would suggest you change from what looks like a 1:3 ratio between minor diameter and major diameter, to a 1:5 ratio. This will suit coils with the same ratio between diameter and length, which is a good starting point for a tesla coil.
