With a drill press, you can easily make the spacers. If you don't know anyone with a drill press, I bought a cheap Harbor freight one for the same price you paid for the sole purpose of making mine. I setup a fence and a jig and made them all Identical, then cut each one to get the desired offset for a spiral. Mine look identical to the ones on the third photo. I drilled the holes so more than half of the hole was at the edge, so the tubing would snap into place. Pictures are great but I need to look closer next time. Anyway I need to buy or make spacers for the primary on this see through "bullet proof" base. I don't want to use wood as it would take away from the clear look of it. Does anyone know of any place that I can get these from? I don't really have any tools other than a drill so I would rather buy "reasonably" what would work.
