I thought high frequency, high potential currents traveled near the surface of the skin. I use a tens machine and the low voltage goes through the muscles and bones and then it does cause spasms in the muscles. If Tesla currents are causing pain in joints, it more likely relates to a change of ions in tissues, which are displaced by the E fields.
