The shunt results in large leakage inductance. Model it as a very largeinductor in series with the secondary.

For instance, if you have a 15kV, 30mA transformer, that implies thatthe series impedance of the secondary is 15E3/30E-3 or 5 Megohms. UsingX = L *2*pi*f At 60 Hz, that's 13kHenry
