I have a nice long piece of turquoise pvc pipe. It's almost 7" in diameter, but the wall thickness is pretty thick at 10mm or a bit over 3/8ths. Will the rf losses make this a dud for winding on a secondary? And is pvc an undesirable material to begin with?
