Re: [TCML] Source for Tungsten Rod?
Hi all,
Thanks for all the replies! I'm contemplating moving up to 1/4" tungsten
material (pure, not carbide alloy). I'm just not sure whether or not I
really need to. I'm running a 15/120 (1800W) NST stack at the moment. It
likes to eat 1/8" steel. I suspect 1/8" tungsten would fair well enough
with just that. BUT... if I were to upgrade to a two MOT stack in the
future, how do you think the 1/8" tungsten would fair then? If what I think
is right, and it burns up too quickly, do you think 1/4" would burn up any
slower to be worth the extra cost?
Thanks again!
Brandon H.
