Re: [TCML] 6KVA first light



Nice work, things start to look impressive when you break the 6' barrier! The ol' coil o' wire ballast is an oldie but a goodie. Used it just last weekend myself! The best fine tuning is still done manually, especially since you are probably already within half a turn of optimal anyway. 

I too am building a DC coil of similar power to yours. Can you share more regarding your planned gap design? Are you simply referring to two gaps in series (I assume one static and one RSG), or do you have some fancy topology I am not aware of?
