I seem to remember an old thread from some years ago
which found that at least some black ABS is fine to use.
I think folks suggested putting suspected carbon containing
materials into a microwave oven to see if they heat up.

grey pipe is almost always ok, its usually for electrical applications,
and highly dielectric but ABS is not ok, use a pvc toilet flange,
its a bit odd ball but its dielectric and holds 4" pipe
