I haven't start boards and I don't any plans set yet. I'm scouting out

And I'm just trying to figure all the parts sourcing now.
Anybody know a general idea of how much this will cost?
About $50 for 3copies of a 2.5x3.8" boards, or something like that.
If you go to real boards.. 2 layers+soldermask+silk screen runs about
$100-150 for qty 2 up to about 20 square inches from a fast turn proto
house, .. added boards run about $0.50-$1/square inch.
4 layer boards cost more
More holes costs more
more kinds of holes costs more
each board house has a certain "panel size" that is cheapest to run,
especially with multiple copies of the same board on it.
Get over 8 layers and the price starts to go up pretty quick, because of
registration issues.
Other things you need to check into: what's the finest pitch/narrowest
trace/narrowest spacing that they can do. If you don't need fine pitch,
then you can go to a house that has less precision and will be cheaper.
it *is* a commodity and very competitive.
