For a single sphere and I am pretty sure for 2 spheres as well you can find an exact solution.
But if the 2 spheres are touching that's where you have an infinite series. I have not run through any of the math yet, and if I get a chance I will try and figure it out. With finals this week its not looking like I will get to it anytime soon.

I think there is no analytical solution for the capacitance of a sphere.
It's a series approximation.
