This whole post is LTB (like totally bogus) except
for the statement about adequate cooling and the one about having fun.
Also, a full wave supply would give more continuous operation, which is
not important in a microwave oven.
I'm sure someone on the list has done every possible kind of power
supply from half waves, full waves, doublers, polyphase bridges,
switchers, etc. As well as ones that deliberately pulse it.
The burning question really is whether someone has collated that
information, etc. into one "compendium of VTTC performance vs Plate
Voltage strategies"
Whoever wrote this post needs to think before he writes. (Oooooops, I
guess that's me.)
