[TCML] Help making a metal suit for spark interaction

I need to build a metal suit so that I can be touching lightning from my 1800w tesla coil in a show I am putting on.I know most people use chain mail... however, would this idea work:if I take a morph-suit: http://fc03.deviantart.net/fs50/f/2009/319/0/0/Morph_Suit_by_JamesM1.jpgand spray-paint it with metalic paint: http://www.google.com/products/catalog?q=metal+paint&hl=en&safe=off&prmd=ivns&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&biw=1366&bih=643&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=10956146511991578011&sa=X&ei=zmleTvurMcW30AG2_vHTAg&ved=0CIEBEPMCMAIwould this give me enough protection against the sparks?I doubt it, but is there any possibility?
