Hi Gary, it was a 15/60 NST powered coil. The gap itself was multiple sections of 1.5 inch copper pipe, arranged inside of a six inch section of PVC pipe. While I used airflow (towards the end of using it), it was from a small tangential fan, the type used in some microwave ovens.
I always kept a section of wet dry sandpaper nearby to run through the gaps after each run to keep it performing optimally.
