normal tank circuit,for a tesla coil,is : transformer to s.gap,then
one side gap,to primary, other side gap, to cap, then to outside
turn,of primary. can this circuit work, for bi - polar coil? if
not, please feel free to suggest a proper circuit. thanks, friend of

Hi Mike,

If you're using a single horizontal-oriented secondary and a common primary centered on the secondary, the primary circuit is the same as for a regular Tesla Coil. Unfortunately, none of the available TC design program can handle horizontally oriented secondaries, so tuning will have to be determined experimentally.
