Yes and no.Pulling a sync signal from the SRSG with a scope is very usefull, provided that the right timing position has been determined by simulating the primary circuit in a cad package like Microsim. I used to do this ages ago, when I worked out how to deliver 300 equal sized bangs into the Museum coil. :-)
