OH S***!!! Fumble-fingered old man, in a rush must have somehow hit an extra  5 without realizing it. Apologies to all.  Shows the great danger of using computer programs without involving "little grey cells" to check for reasonableness. I assume the rest of my points were somewhat valid?

ipe, at least not according to the math 
hat I was taught. ;^) The product comes out 
o 1,047.2 FEET, which I'm assuming is where 
he 1.05 figure came from.
