[TCML] Odd side effect--from a coil?

I wear wire rim glasses. About 18 months ago I got new frames made of 
stainless steel.

After several months of experimenting with my modest tabletop coils, I have 
found my glasses frames are magnetized. They are so strongly magnetized I 
can pick up big paperclips, nail clippers, etc and let them dangle.

Is this a side effect of coiling? Anyone else experience this?
