The standard unit of capacitance is the farad, abbreviated as "F".

The standard unit of resistance is the ohm, abbreviated as "Ω".

For a 10MΩ resistor, the "M" stands for "mega", and is shorthand for 10^6, or 1,000,000 (one million). Therefore, a 10MΩ resistor would refer to 10,000,000 ohms (ten million ohms).
