I will try that. Also - I imagine one must thin the AC-43 before use. What's the ratio you recommend??
When you say the "inner spiral" you mean on the inside of the tube?
Amen to using JavaTC. The next problem, which is indeed an problem for some people - is putting in ACCURATE numbers to JavaTC and correctly interpreting the response. With Bart's tutelage, I am now in no danger of making prior mistakes.
Far as I can tell, JavaTC is dead-nuts-on. What JavaTC can't tell me, though, is how to interpret my safety gaps firing - is it because the timing is off slightly on my srsg, or is it tuning, or is it because I have a wire loose somewhere? That, unfortunately, has taken the acquisition of empirical data and experience, and the destruction of lots of equipment.
Painful but true... Alas, the wise man once said that if we didn't make mistakes, we would never learn anything as engineers. And given that, I must be pretty durned brilliant by this point ;-)
