RE: [TCML] reply to: nst plus asynch rotary gap, good? bad?



If you don't plan on using the RSG with a pole pig, you can eliminate the disk entirely and simplify the construction by using a "propeller gap".  Its inventor Terry Blake made both sync and async versions (see http://tb3.com/tesla/sparkgaps/index.html)
