Well constructed Tesla transformer with fixed primary energy E=10 J and pulse rate 100 PPS will deliver about 55" sparks. How long (aproximatelly) will be a spark lenght of the same Tesla transformer with: 1) E=2 J and 500 PPS 2) E= 0.66 J and 1500 PPS 3) E= 0.2 J and 5000 PPS Assume in all the cases same efficiency of the primary circuit. Those are all 1kWYour 55" number sounds like you ran the 1.7*sqrt(power) formula, which is an empirical fit for spark gap type tesla coils at reasonable break rates. It's not necessarily extendable to the other cases. Perhaps you might wish to do the experiment yourself, and make a contribution to the literature.
