Hi Chris,There has been one resonator (cavity not coil) built that I know of using a klystron to drive it. It was done at a university somewhere pre 2000 if I remember right. The resonator was pretty good size, around 2' in diameter and 8-9' tall. That's about all I remember about it from the pics.

Has anyone ever built a tube coil using a klystron? Would the Klystrons (there are 3) from a 1987 Harriss 120UX transmitter be suitable for such an application?AFAIK the tubes would be tuned for transmitting a standard television signalon Channel 28.
