Maybe we (us Tesla fanboys) can petition Tracor to make us more K3000F1's. I need 40 more SIDAC's (triggering at 300V) to finish up my next SISG coil project. You can rest assured that the KxxxxF1's are good.They are the rollsroyce of sidac's in my book, with breakover voltage so consistent that it is a pure joy.
I am sure time will bring us a sidactor that works, and when more able minds than mine has voiced their opinion, I am going to contact Tekkor for a direct replacement of the old ones.
