RE: [TCML] Mirrors as glass plate and "foil" style caps?



With "good" MMC caps, I believe that the metalized (vapor-deposited) plates are only used for the floating plates (between the main plates). For the main plates that have the end-terminations to the leads, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think these still need to be solid foil to support the high current densities at the terminations.  The floating plates just transmit current front-to-back so have low current density.
