He may be running at 30 pps rather than 60 pps. This
would still appear continuous but draw half the power
of 60 pps operation. But if he gets 36" sparks in that
mode using a single tube, then that is still excellent
performance. There is no doubt that Cameron has
done very important work in that area. Unfortunately
I don't have all the specs and details of his coil.

Cameron can run the coil in continuous mode too. His coil draws around
20A
at full power. He told me that he runs the feedback so high up so that
it's
the secondary that drives it. At any rate he got the largest spark
while
the coil was high up on the form.
