This discussion peaked my curiosity so I looked it up.


VDRM is the maximum voltage that device will allow, and stay fully off.

between VDRM and Vs the device will become more conductive, but not switch on.  (partial turn on)

Vs is the voltage where the device will switch on fully and the voltage across the device after that will abruptly fall to Vt.
Current will flow with little resistance.
