Re: [TCML] TV Heads UP: Tesla, History Channel, 14 May, 8PM, EDT
Hi Jeff, all,
I just watched that special this evening. I thought it was one of
the best Tesla documentaries that I've seen ;^) I got a chance to
see a few of the TCML thread contributors such as you, Sam
Barros, and Jeff Behary as well as seeing some of those beuatiful
coils, too. Lots of nice arcs and sparks footage ;^)) I was also
glad that they showed Ed Wingate's maggie in action, too. Loved
seeing those umpteen-stacked 1256Ds behind Sam Barros as well
as those 3 huge pigs behind you for the Beijing Olympics Tesla coil.
Overall, it was well worth watching and it gave Tesla the proper
credit that has long been overdue.

Minor Note:
History Channel can be a lot less then accurate, in their
history...
They did their best on this one but constantly asked us to simplify our
explanations for "the folks at home".
So what starts out as a brilliant explanation turns into mush... :-)
