I haven't been following this but caught this one.  Dan is right: Don't 
flip off an "outsider" who presents a not-unreasonable request.  If you 
can't meet the request, just pass it by.  Sorry, Zoe!  (I like your 
name, by the way: it's my granddaughter's.)
