Thanks for the link. Guess I should have used the archive search myself >_<
I only have around 10kv at 15uF (2 defib caps in series) so I don't expect
massive results but then I am only trying on a 3" secondary. I do have a 6"
but don't wanna burn that.
I do have a MOT to charge though with voltage doubler so that should provide
reasonable charge rates.

I have a bit of a hankering to try it too although my pulse caps are a lower
voltage but I could do a rewire to get 40kV at 20kJ. I guess you need a
pretty solid charger to keep repetition rates reasonable.
