Though I was only a biology/chemistry major for two
years before changing majors to engineering, I thought
I had learned otherwise. The formation of spermatozoa
is a continuous process, true. However, there are many
steps involved, and if some of the cells that become
spermatozoa (spermatogonia) are damaged, they will
produce damaged spermatozoa. The spermatogonia are
reproducing to create more spermatogonia, but if their
DNA is damaged, they can only produce damaged
spermatogonia, which will produce damaged spermatozoa.

Though I could be worng, it's better not to x-ray your
'nads.
