RE: [TCML] Filter Choice








If you are not in a big rush to finish the filter, I have 500 pcs of both
the caps and also the varisters in my shop.

I also picked up a few hundred resistors at a surplus shop that work
excellent for the protective resistors in the circuit.  Values are
slightly higher, so we just solder 2 resistors in parallel to reduce the
resistance to the correct value.  We use these resistors in all of our
Terry filters.

Cost about $20 for all the parts you need including the expensive
resistors.  I will not be back in Wis. and in my shop until it warms up,
probably in mid-May (a winter from hell back in the midwest this season),
so contact me off-list if you are interested.
