Miles, I got my 833C from RF Parts. They also have 833A's for a few
dollars less. The brand is Taylor and is made in China but appears to be
good quality. Jim Zimmerschied

Subject: 833A's triodes
Can anybody provide a decent source for a couple of 833a's, anode caps,
and sockets? I have been hunting on the interent and it looks like some
are made in China that cost must less than the USA ones. Are the Chineese
833a's any good, or do they have lead poision x-ray emitters in them?
There is one listed on e-bay right now, but they guy doesn't know if it
works or not. Sincerely, Miles
