Subject: trading toploads.

Hey guys,

I am currently using a top load made of 12-in galvanized steel
elbows. It is too heavy, and not very smooth, for these reasons I don't
like it. I need to make a new one that is lighter, without sacrificing
capacitance, and I seem to be limited to Al-duct that is 7-8in, instead of
12. The overall diameter of my toroid is about 30 inches, and the chord
diameter is obviously 12. What should I use, and how big should it be, so
I don't need to completely re-tune. I might also note, that I stack two
toploads, a smaller 7*24 and the bigger 12*30; one rests atop the other.
Thanks in advance.

Scott Bogard.
