I once used four, clear (uncolored) glass 750ml wine
bottles to achieve 6nF.

http://hot-streamer.com/greg/bottom.htm

Years ago I sampled a few different 750ml glass wine
bottles of various shapes and colors and found a
capacitance range of roughly 1000 - 1900pF per bottle.
If you don't own a capacitance meter, I suggest you
simply build a half-dozen or so wine bottle caps, and
add them one-by-one to your tank circuit until you get
best sparks.

Cheers,

Greg
