[TCML] single mot coil

Hello,
   I was building a coil using a 15/30 nst however, I have come up
short on capacitors. I have a 650w mot laying around and a 76uf 2.3kv
capacitor. If the spark gap were small enough, could the mot drive a 3.5
inch diameter coil with a 1300 turn 24 gauge secondary and a 13 turn 6
gauge primary? Also, I understand mylar caps are no good, however, can
they be used? Or will they malfunction?
