[TCML] primary

Hi Clive:


Find a round object reasonably close to the size of your primary (like
a metal can) and clamp one end of the tube to the can (sheet metal
screws also work).
Now mussel the tube evenly around the can.

You can use a soft rubber mallet to get the tubes shoulder to shoulder
and nicely level across (if  you work at it with some delicacy).
We drill a hole through the free end of the tube and place the hook
from a bungee cord through it. Use the bungee cord to keep the tube
under constant tension while straightening.

You can easily make your spiral from this point, and have it come out
looking perfect.

Light taps and zillions of them, else dents tube.
