Hey Scott,

I've just been getting into coiling for the last 2 yrs and one thing
that amazed me one night was thinking out the whole scheme of a coil.
It's coil after coil after coil, etc. You have the variac to adjust
voltage, then the ballast to adjust current, then the primary circuit
with a tank, then the secondary. Before all that you have the coils in
the generator that brings the power to our homes via the pole pig
nocking it down so we can bring it back up to what our coils need to
make sparks that we enjoy. Where does it end. You have alot of energy
flying around a coil and anything near it is going to pick up on it, the
strike rail is another coil that's going to absorb energy when it isn't
grounded. Hope this helps

Stan
