Thanks - my intuition told me something like that but it's nice to hear it 
from someone on the list.  I'll go ahead and get the larger transformer and 
make a "proper" 6 inch coil.  Also, nice to know that I have a handle on 
this capacitor sizing thing - I appreciate your input.
