I thought I would forward this email sent to me from Jeff, producer
of the play "Tesla" that I caught in Perth Western Australia. Did
anyone see it in Vancouver?

Subject: TESLA returns triumphant from Vancouver
Greetings one and all,
I am happy to report another successful production of Tesla, this
time in Vancouver, BC. As many of you already know, Vancouver was
one of only 6 cities worldwide that played host to the Tesla
Museum's outstanding exhibit TESLA'S WONDERFUL WORLD OF
ELECTRICITY. In honor of the 150th celebration of Tesla's birth,
the Museum in Belgrade transported an incredible collection of
Tesla artifacts to these few host cities. As a part of last year's
150th festivities, Frank and I were lucky enough to take our
stageplay TESLA to both Perth, Australia and Vancouver, British
Columbia. Both cities have such a strong and loyal Tesla following,
our trips were more sucessful than we could ever have imagined.
In Perth, the SRO crowd was incredibly enthusiastic and our hosts,
The Tesla Forum of Western Australia, arranged for a first class
production team at the Octagon Theatre. The show could not have been
any better, nor the "Steaks on the Barbie" any tastier.
In Vancouver, at the brand new and beautiful Serbian Cultural
Center, The audience was at first so quiet and attentive I wondered
if there might be a problem with Frank's microphone. That is to say
only until Tesla resigned from Edison's employ, and then the
audience burst into wild spontaneous applause! Incredible! As for
hospitality, the Serbian community turned out in droves for the
performance, and the much prized, home made Slivovitz flowed like
water...
We're looking forward to mounting the show here in Los Angeles this
spring, in order to set up our bells and whistles to tour the show
in the fall. There's lots of work to be done, so to all of our
friends here in California, roll up your sleeves and we'll get
started.
To all of our new friends in Australia and Canada, we send our
great love and thanks for making TESLA welcome in your homes. For
our part, we will continue to sing Tesla's name from the rooftops.
Happy New Year for you and yours,
Jeff Amaral
