I believe they can be had (5-10 KVA size at that voltage) for 1/3 of
that, but that would not include any freight. Sources elude me at this
time though.

   Does anybody know how much is  a good price to pay for a 14kv pole 
pig? This is purely academic. I'm planning my next coil. Information 
Unlimted sells one for $895 (USD) but this seems really high.
