My friend Nathan (not a list member) uses an OBIT to do the fractal wood
burning. OBITs are AC output. If the piece of wood is on a concrete floor,
you can use only one HV terminal and bring the wire close, once a carbon
path is started, it keeps spreading. It is neat, I may get a niece piece of
wood and urethane the thing and stick it on my wall, they are certainly
cheaper than Lichtenberg figures!
