In reading the various biographies on Tesla, it is my opinion that he
became very paranoid (for good reason) towards the end of his life.
He comitted his most important work to memory, and burned the papers
so that his ideas could not be stolen. Remember this is the same guy
who analyzed, measured, and weighed his food before every meal. Not
to mention anything about his strange fascination with saving
pigeons. He was capable of anything he set his mind to.
