I agree with your point that using the wrong spelling could prevent
finding archived material.
However, I could not find legastheny.
To help the translation / interpretation for others:
I did find legasthenie ...... it showed up in connection with Dyslexia
so I see the connection now.
I do despair at incorrect spelling and punctuation ( even though I
am poor at both myself) but I do feel a search for tungsten would
show up all the documents
As an Englishman enjoying the list, I have learned to cope and (
sort of ) accept color, ( colour) thoro ( thorough)
and find it easier on my concentration of the subject material if I
do not get irritated by these anomalies.
I am working on not being upset by sepErate, and TO for too many
times misspelled
- not confined to the US but common in the British Isles also
That's my two penn'oth ( penny's worth = two cents = two bits
......... is there a two pfenigs worth )
Off Line, but hopefully amusing............ all work and no play
makes Jim a dull coil builder

Why nobody like to spell the title as "Thoriated..." instead of
"Thoraited..." ???
The whole thread might not show up in a later archive search for "thoriated".
In addition, foreign language members, like myself, would really
benefit from halfway correct spelling.
Kurt
P.S. I'm aware, that has nothing to do with intelligence, and
would not like to discourage anybody to post to the list.
