Who's to say how practical it really is? He knew what a challenge it was and
had an enormous grounding network set up of drilled tunnels for the grounds.
That's part of the legacies of Wardenclyff.

Greg,

That's mostly a matter of installing a large topload so the sparks
can't break out.  Tesla's Wardenclyffe project in Long Island had
such a large topload, but he ran out of funding.  Transmitting
power through the earth is not practical anyway.
