Yes, and that was one of the 'fatal' flaws of the Co.
Spgs. coil...his topload was too small for that. His Wardenclyffe
tower had that address by having a 67 ft. diameter topload...depicted
as a toroid in the patent, but more like a mushroom head in shape.

Wasn't Tesla's coil tuned so as to minimize losses from spark? He was
trying to use the machine to transmit power through the earth, not
light up the sky, right?
