Original poster: Lydia Perisic <lydiap@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Hi, can anyone advise on the following:what kind of material would be suitable to insulate between a 17Mhz Tesla circuit and the ferromagnet inside. Thanks lydia
What voltage? Most dielectrics are fine at 17MHz.. polyethylene is low loss, polypropylene would work, PTFE (Teflon(r)) is very low loss, but expensive. Glass is getting lossy at that frequency and would not be a good choice.
