Hello list,

i'm adriano from italy.
Today i've been to the local ham fest, and i got a plasma ball made in china.

it has a cozy circular green neon on the bottom  and it is able to 
light an external small neon tube too.

My question is: how does it work?
it seems to me to be a little circuit made with tv transformer, 
should i open the base to see what is inside of someone here already did it?
