I run the same capacitor setup as that with my 15/60 NST driven 4" coil.
The reason I went with that design because it is has proved
"bullet-proof" for many already using the design. And at about $3 a
piece you want these caps to last as long as possible. :-)

Thank you Terry, I'll just bench the Maxwell & keep it handy for
possible future duty.
I would like to make sure I'm designing the MMC correctly. Assuming
I can get Cornel Dubilier 942C20P15K caps at 2000VDC / 0.15uF, I
think it calculates to 2 strings of 15 caps each to give me the
desired values of 30,000 volts & 0.02uF. Can you confirm that for
me? Much obliged.
