Yes, curvature does make a diff. Ive been using 2" pipe for years,
the large pipe dissipates heat very well, but awhile back I set up a
static gap with 1" pipe and saw an improvement in performance, but
because I didnt have enough airflow for cooling, the performace fell
off quickly after about a minute...I need to get that working...........
